“Left Out” is a project about just that: all the images and projects I have been meaning to do but couldn’t due to my commercial practice or personal life. This body of work allows me the freedom to photograph a list of people, places, and animals that I’ve always wanted to without committing to a full-length project. Some of the images are derived from past experiences, while others focus on places I have always wanted to access but never tried. Through this process, I hope to punctuate ideas that have been scratching at me for ages and open up a new chapter in my work—almost like a type of creative spring cleaning.
